March On!

I love March.  Love it.  And it isn’t just for the basketball (I’m not supposed to play favorites, but my money isn’t on the dinosaurs, if you get my meaning…), or the fact that there is still plenty of hockey to be played.  March is the time of year where renewal and rebirth are in the air.  As Spring begins to poke it’s head out of the gloom and darkness, we are reminded annually of the possibilities of life.Also, it’s a really good time to check out houses.  I’m just sayin’…Normally, I’m all about laying on some serious home buying tips right about now, but I’m just so stinkin’ excited about the advent of Spring (capital ‘S’ because it’s sooo much cooler than ‘spring‘), I can’t help myself.  In fact, in honor of the approach of my favorite time of the year, I’d like to put out a little contest to you, my loyal blogees…What is the best thing about Spring (In 100 words or less)?  Winner gets a hearty handshake, and whatever else I deem worthy… But seriously folks… back to this ‘checking out houses’ thing… Don’t we owe it to ourselves to begin a new season by at least examining the possibilities of home ownership?  Some of you have been cooped up in some pretty dingy apartments for a few months now, and I think that for the good of the land… you step up your game and get on up outta there.And did I mention there is a contest?  Oh, and if you don’t really like Spring, you can join the other contest- What is wrong with you and why?Just kidding.  There is nothing wrong with you.  Or, if there is…I’m not in the position to judge, that’s what professionals are for.Now, I realize that some of you are looking out the window here in Toronto and you’re saying to yourself, “Self, I don’t think it really is Spring.  It’s cloudy, and the rest of the week has a high of like…5 degrees.”  And to that I would say… well, technically you are correct.  But take heart my friends!  Spring cannot be denied.See you soon!
